Your ETR Insider

Early To Rise Insider
From The Desk of Laura Rodini Volume 1  |  Issue 6   |  March 19, 2010

Dear ETR Insider,

May I ask you a question?

How old are you?

If you're over 50, chances are retirement is on your mind.

And if you're under 50, like me (I just turned 30), chances are you're kicking yourself. You know you should be saving for retirement, but probably haven't gotten around to socking much away.

Now here's an interesting fact. According to Lendingtree.com, if you're making $60,000 a year now, you'll need at least $42,000 a year to maintain your standard of living once you retire.

That's a lot more than I thought. And it doesn't include increased health care costs (which are sure to go up) or rising inflation (which is happening as we speak).

And you can't depend on Social Security, unless you plan on living at the poverty level. The government won't be there to support you, like it did for our grandparents.

I'm not trying to be a buzz kill - just calling to mind the fact that we have a real problem. But there is something you can do about it.

Investor's Daily Edge Editor Steve McDonald put together a special video presentation called How to Avoid the Retirement Trap and Make Double What the Stock Market Returns Each Year.

In it, he explains how you can make "retirement-level" cash, including a way to set yourself up to get regular payments every few months for the rest of your life.

Plus, he invited the rest of the experts at Investor's Daily Edge to weigh in with their thoughts and specific recommendations. Thousands of people signed up to watch the video last week, but you can watch it right now by clicking here.

One more thing: Steve is finishing up the latest promotional campaign for his Bond Trader service. And if you sign up before midnight tonight, he'll send you the details of a special recommendation on a top-quality bond with a juicy interest payment.

Steve recently closed out trades for 32.8%, 28.1%, and 23.2% gains, respectively, so he certainly knows a thing or two about investing! Click here for more details about Steve's Bond Trader service.

| Liberty Street League Set to Offer Two New Services |

I'm excited about two new benefits that Liberty Street League (LSL) members will soon be receiving free with their membership to ETR's unique new wealth-building club.

One is an investment advisory newsletter that follows Michael Masterson's personal wealth-building philosophy.

"Most investment advisors have a very static view of how to profit from the markets," says Michael. "Fundamentalists, contrarians, technicians - they all suffer from the same problem: investment myopia."

The LSL advisory letter will be researched and presented by Investor's Daily Edge's Christian Hill. It will give members monthly recommendations on stocks and other investment plays that are already on their way up and have plenty of room for 50% to 500% ROIs.

I don't have enough space in this update to tell you how they are doing it (you'll find out all about it in the next issue of the LSL newsletter) - but I can tell you this: When you see how it works, you'll be very happy you are a member of the Liberty Street League.

The other new benefit for LSL members is brand-new in the investing world: a portfolio of tips and recommendations that can give you really big returns without risking a lot of money. None of the recommendations will cost more than $100. Many will cost only $50. Yet they will all have great upside potential. If you have only $500 to invest right now, you can get started.

So why sit around watching big-time investors make all the big profits? The Liberty Street League will now be giving its members the chance to enjoy as much as 1,000% returns... without investing a bundle.

| Early to Rise's Faces of Success |

This week, meet Bob Rubenstein, the former executive of a home furnishings business. Bob and his wife, Ellen, have made a successful second career out of their love for cooking. Check it out.

Why I Started a 2nd Career After a Long and Successful Career in Retailing, and How It Turned My Life Around
By Bob Rubenstein

For 35 years, I was the president of Rubenstein's, the largest and most respected retail home furnishings business in the Pacific Northwest.

In 1993, I retired from retail, and my wife Ellen and I moved to Scottsdale, AZ. But after a while, we got tired of retirement, and we opened a furniture design showroom. It was extremely successful... until the housing market fell apart. Then, like thousands of furniture retailers nationwide, we were forced to close our store in 2007.

Not easy... not fun... but it had to be done.

We needed a new source of income. I had heard about starting an Internet business, but I had no idea what was involved in running one. So I started researching. There were thousands of opportunities to choose from. Some sounded interesting, and some were "get-rich-quick schemes" that had lots of seriously dissatisfied customers.

A friend of mine asked me if I had heard of Early to Rise. He said that they had great information on how to start an Internet business the right way, and that they offered a very informative free newsletter. This was my lucky day. I signed up for the ETR newsletter - and, soon thereafter, I signed up for ETR's 5 Days in July conference. The conference was invaluable in helping us decide on a niche for our Internet business. And it gave us a better understanding of how to put together a successful Internet business. I was able to show my website to the group and get feedback from the instructors as to how to improve it. I also received positive reinforcement from the group and the instructors regarding the niche we had selected.

My wife and I decided that our niche would be cookbooks. We both love to write. And we love cooking. I had previously had trained under some of the best chefs in the world.

So we spent much of 2009 writing our cookbook and developing our website, www.fivestarcuisine.com.

Finally, we thought we were ready to go! Not so fast. It didn't take long to realize that marketing on the Internet is not the same as marketing for a brick-and-mortar business! I needed help. ETR must have been listening. I started reading about the ETR Internet Marketing Bootcamp in Delray Beach, Florida, and signed up right away.

I have been to many seminars over the years, but this one topped them all. It was equivalent to earning a master's degree in Internet Marketing in 4 days. I refer to my Bootcamp notes every week, and continue to get great marketing ideas from them. We had no idea videos were so important in driving traffic to our website. We added videos to our website immediately after Bootcamp, and saw traffic increase significantly. We are now producing our own videos to go on YouTube and also on our website.

| ETR's Fitness Craze |

Our lovelely model, Sarah, demonstrates

One more thing before I sign off this week...

You may think we've gone crazy at ETR headquarters.

We haven't. We've simply replaced our desk chairs with fitness balls - and we've never been more productive!

Now I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. But then I sat on one myself, and they're really comfortable! They're meant to strengthen your abs and your posture. You're constantly making adjustments throughout the day, giving yourself a mini-workout while you sit.

If you're sitting at a normal-height desk, I recommend the medium-sized ball. Just fill it up with air and enjoy!

Until next week,

Laura Sig

Sincerely,
Laura Rodini
